Results of Korean Mobile Content Survey

Korea Culture & Content Agency (KOCCA), the National Government Office for the Korean Ministry of Culture & Tourism, performed a survey of 107 content providers starting in March 2003. This survey indicated 55.1% of content providers' annual sales fell below 500 million won. Meanwhile, 22.4% of content providers' capital was lower than 100 million won and 66.3% less than 500 million won.

This survey also showed the primary factors that affected their decision on developing content. 34.6% said the decision to develop content is determined by the progress their carrier partners in the mobile content market. 33.6% base their actions the results of global market surveys; 26.2% said it depended primarily on their own technological capabilities.
